“So, what do we do about all this?”  This is the question that John Phillip Newell asked thirty WPCers after we finished our retreat on Iona.  The question he posed implied two things:  what are the issues we are facing as Christians and what actions should we take about these issues?  Although our current worship season is “Ordinary Time”, we are not living in ordinary times.  The level of geo-political and economic tensions seems to be increasing daily.

 

Join the Community Service committee as we explore the issues that test our faith and how we can put our faith into action to help.  We have had two meetings so far where we discussed immigration and gun violence.  We want to have further discussions about these topics and others that may be weighing on our hearts.  Most importantly, we want to identify things that we can do to help.
