Our panelists will explore how ancient traditions speak to our deepest needs, guide us through life’s transitions, and foster community in a fragmented world.

  • Bethany Nelson is Associate Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon. She earned her Master of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion and a Doctor of Ministry from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She is married with a college-aged son.
  • Michael O’Smith teaches theology and serves as Campus Minister at St. Vincent de Paul High School in Petaluma. He holds a Master of Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley and is married with three young children.
  • Naomi Weiss is Cantor at Congregation Kol Shofar in Tiburon. She completed the Cantors Assembly Internship Program under the mentorship of Hazzanim Alberto Mizrahi and Sarah Alexander. She lives in Marin with her husband, David.
