Brook Scott
Parish Associate
An ordained Presbyterian minister, Brook Scott serves as Parish Associate at Westminster. Her ministry is grounded in thoughtful preaching, pastoral care, spiritual formation, and a commitment to connecting faith with the challenges and opportunities of contemporary life.
Brook is active throughout the Presbytery of the Redwoods, where she serves on the Committee on Mission Finance. She also acts as a guest pastor to congregations throughout the Presbytery. Brook is also engaged in active ministry at First Congregational Church of Nantucket, MA where she fills in a guest pastor and serves on the Church Council. Previously, Brook served as Temporary Pastor of Two Rock Valley and Tomales Presbyterian Churches.
Before entering ordained ministry, Brook developed a substantial career in commercial real estate research and consulting at CBRE, RREEF and KPMG. She holds a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary, a Master of Accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Trinity College, CT.
Her transition into ministry included service as a Chaplain Resident and Intern at UCSF Medical Center, as well as a Seminary Intern at Old First Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. These experiences have shaped her approach to ministry as one that brings together pastoral presence, intellectual curiosity, organizational leadership, and deep respect for each person’s spiritual journey.
Brook and her husband are proud parents of two adult children and three grandchildren.
