MEDICAL MISSION TRIP

In war-torn Guatemala, two teams of 20-30 medical professionals and translators travel annually to Antigua to offer surgical care and to villages for medical support. At least one high school youth participates. Congregation members support the work with financial donations, packaging of medicines, driving, and providing school supplies for children. Mission leaders: April Green and John Long.
Teaching in Afghanistan
Congregant Camilla Barry has a nonprofit, Classrooms Across Cultures, that teaches hands on science to teachers in Afghanistan.
