Barbara Rowe served as Westminster's Associate Pastor alongside Rev. Doug Huneke from 1992 until her retirement in 2013. Ordained as a minister after a career as a systems analyst, Barbara's 21-year tenure included organizing medical mission teams to Guatemala and Haiti, coordinating church group
trips to Biblical lands, and providing refuge for those from Bosnia, El Salvador, and other places, in addition to her pastoral responsibilities.
Barbara holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Currently, Barbara's primary focus revolves around volunteering with refugees and immigrants at the Canal Alliance and Davidson School in San Rafael. She enjoys morning rowing on Richardson Bay, taking ukulele and painting classes, and actively participating in groups like the League of Women Voters and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. She also finds joy in attending insightful speaker events in Marin County and cherishing the presence of her first grandchild born in 2017.
