Oasis of Peace       Wednesday October 23, 1:00pm
Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam, (meaning " Oasis of Peace” in Arabic and Hebrew), is an intentional community between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Made up of both Jewish and Palestinians they are committed to bilingual, multicultural equality. Two community members will be here at WPC to share an inside view into the reality of raising their families in this community. All are welcome to hear their unique perspective on the Israel/Palestinian conflict.

Pancake Breakfast       Sunday, October 27, 11:15am
(note new date) Join the high school youth group for some delicious food at their annual Pancake Breakfast, this year including pumpkin pancakes! The breakfast is free, but your donations will help us make a significant lasting impact in San Diego during our annual mission trip there. Parents, please have your high schoolers here at 9:00am to set up and cook!

Substance Abuse Prevention Workshop       Sunday, October 27, 11:45am
Prodigal Parent Series #9: After the legalization of cannabis use and with the rise in popularity of vaping we’ve noticed the conversations teenagers have about drug use are changing. We have invited FCD Prevention Works to join us. For decades, FCD has worked worldwide to provide students and the adults who care for them with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to make intelligent, healthy choices about alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. Yoga for Spiritual Well-Being       Mondays, 9:30am
This contemplative-style class focuses on safe, fluid movements engaged with mindful breathing. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or entirely new to yoga, please join us. What's Happening at the Border?       Sunday, October 20, 10:30am
Rev. Deborah Lee, Exec. Dir. of the Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity, will preach. Following the service, at 12:15pm, an immigration forum will include a short film and firsthand witnesses of activity at the Arizona and Texas borders. Two Westminster members will share their Borderlinks experience. Unitarian Universalist Congregation, San Rafael.

Marin Organizing Committee Convention       Sunday, October 27, 3:00pm
WPC has joined the Marin Interfaith Committee's new MOC core team. MOC has achieved concrete progress on homelessness, renter protection, and healthcare. Join with over 800 others from congregations, non-profits, and neighborhoods across Marin to celebrate a decade of building non-partisan citizen power and establish an agenda of issues for 2020. Middle School November Bash Weekend       November 1-3
Our middle schoolers and leaders are returning to Westminster Woods with other youth groups from around Northern California for a weekend of thrill seeking, friendship, conversation, adventure and worship. With the grind of the school year on full throttle, what better way to pause and reset with friends in a beautiful, joyful, peaceful setting. For grades 6-8. Cost: $200 (scholarships available). For the first time in a long time our high schoolers and leaders are returning to Westminster Woods with other youth groups from around Northern California for a weekend of thrill seeking, friendship, conversation, adventure and worship.
