Parking Lot Challenge
In order to prepare for a loss of parking spaces during our renovation, during the month of March we are challenging the congregation to use fewer parking spaces for the 10:00 service. Some alternatives include: attend the 8:30 service, carpool, walk or ride your bike, park at the Strawberry Point school lot and walk.

Giving it up for Lent
During the season of Lent, you are encouraged to bring a specific canned food each Sunday that will be donated to the Marin Food Bank. The weekly suggested cans are as follows -
March 24 – Canned Fruit, March 31 – Canned Fish, April 7 – Canned Chili.

Small Group Dinner Host Recruiting       Going on Now
We are currently recruiting about a dozen hosts for the spring series of Small Group Dinners that will run Fri Apr 26 thru Sat May 25. Our roster of dinners needs to be settled in time for dinner signups to begin on Sun Apr 7. Point Reyes Hike       Saturday, March 23, 9:30am

High School Mission Trip BBQ       Sunday, March 24, 11:15am
One of the ways we help fund the extraordinary work of our high schoolers and adults on mission trips is through our annual church-wide BBQ. We are going to make you a great lunch; there is no cost, but we’ll gladly accept your generous donation.

Yoga for Every Body       Mondays, 9:30am
Join this deeply nourishing, all-ability 1 hr. yoga class, appropriate for all ages and abilities. To learn more about Erin’s unique teaching style view this short video. Bring your own mat, or extras are provided. $15 suggested donation

Women Connecting       Tuesday, March 26, 6:30pm
Our group of women meets monthly to respond to a relevant faith/life questions over dinner. Our presenter this month will be Ruah Bull on the topic of “Transitions: Spirituality in the Second Half of Life.” If you are new to Women Connecting, please RSVP to Judy Friede at ; meet in Findlay Hall.

Council of Dads       Thursday, March 28, 6:00pm
This group meets the 4th Thursday of each month for a light supper and discussion of issues facing dads of all ages, offering access to ideas and voices of experience in an informal and collegial setting. WPC Women’s Retreat       March 29-30

Speak for Safety       Sunday, March 31, 11:15am
Gun violence is all too common. Learn about a new law that allows for temporary removal of guns and ammunition from individuals at risk of harming themselves or others. This event is directed towards parents and adults. Teenagers also are invited. Questions? Contact

Interfaith Community Building Workshop       Sunday, April 7, 5:00pm
Facilitated by Dr. Sara Shadmi-Wortman, an international expert in the field of community building as a process for creating resilient communities. She is the founder and director of the International Center for Community Building in Israel. RSVP to Rob.

Bible Study       Tuesday, April 16, 6:00pm
Rob will be teaching the Bible study class on the Gospel of Mark on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month; Meet in the library. (Note: due to Lenten activities, Rob will not have his class on April 2; see Lenten Series announcement above.)

Men’s Cursillo Weekend       May 16-19
Marin Cursillo brings together church members from local Catholic and Protestant churches, featuring food, humor, and a deep celebration of our Christian life. Summer Service Trip       June 23-28
We are joining with the Sebastopol UCC congregation to help rebuild homes in Lake County that were destroyed by the Valley Fire in 2015. We will stay in Middletown in dormitory housing provided by the Hope City organization. No special skills needed. Youth ages 15 and older are welcome with an adult. See Bethany for more information and plan on attending an informational meeting on April 7 at 11:15am.

Family Camp at Tahoe       June 30-July 5
