Youth Mission Trips

Modeling our safety suits.

Westminster sends a group of high school students and adult leaders each year to provide a week of service to those in need.  Service projects have included building and painting houses, running a day camp for children, working at a Food Bank, serving food at a homeless shelter, and more.  We begin planning meetings in the fall, hold fundraisers, learn about our mission site, and build team bonds.

Working with a New Orleans family.

We leave in June shortly after school is out. The past few years we have worked in Tijuana, Mexico; New Orleans, Louisiana; Fort Apache, Arizona; and Los Angeles, California. All high school youth are welcome on the trip. This summer, we will go to Chicago, Illinois from June 14-21, 2008.

This summer, our middle school youth will also participate in a mission trip to San Francisco, helping serve those who are hungry and homeless in the city.  The trip will be from July 9-12.
